The coalition will host a Ciclovia, a car-free street event to promote mobility in South Kern! Several streets will be closed to cars in southeast Bakersfield to allow residents to walk, run, and bike as community in a safe open space. The celebration will feature fun family activities, music, live performances, and free food.

The event will be held at Rexland Acres Park, 325 E. Fairview Dr. in Bakersfield from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Transportation will be available from Arvin, Weedpatch and Lamont. For more information please visit healthysouthkern.org or call Angel Munoz at (661) 845-2724.
