Learn about public health careers at BC Public Health Science Program’s information fair

Bakersfield College’s Public Health Science Program is hosting an information fair next week for students interested in degrees and careers in public health.

The fair, which features two presentations, highlights a number of topics, including tips for transferring into a public health or health science major at a CSU and UC; opportunities to learn more about public health careers from professionals in the field; information on how to apply for the UCLA Public Health Scholar Program; an overview on how to obtain an Associates Degrees for transfer in Public Health Science; information on the new Health Navigator Certificate of Achievement; and information on how a career in pubic health can help individuals and the community.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in the Fireside Room at Bakersfield College, 1801 Panorama Drive.
