Do you or someone you know need a screening mammogram? If you are without insurance and need a screening mammogram, join Links for Life at the first ever Health & Resource Fair, hosted at Bear Mountain Elementary School in Arvin.

The Health Department’s Lead Poisoning Prevention Department, Family Resource Center, Dental Health Network, Nutrition Obesity Prevention and Community Connection for Child Care are also providing information at the event.

Event activities include entertainment, face painting, kids activities and raffles and prizes.

You must make an appointment for a screening. To schedule your screening mammogram, call Diana Ramirez at 322-5601. There are limited spaces.

The event runs form 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Bear Mountain Elementary School, 1501 Hood St. in Arvin.
