The Kern County Homeless Youth Committee is asking for donations for the Homeless Youth Sleeping Bag Drive.

The organization is collecting sleeping bags through Jan. 18.

Sleeping bags will be given to youth experiencing homelessness in Bakersfield during the annual Point In Time Homeless Count in January.

You can drop off sleeping bags at any of these locations:

• United Way of Kern County, 5405 Stockdale Highway #200
• Bakersfield Police Office Association, 2303 17th St.
• Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, 1801 18th St.
• Kern County Probation, 2005 Ridge Road

The annual Point in Time Count is on Jan. 30 from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m.
