Here are the unofficial Kern County election results as of 2:05 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to the Kern County Elections office and the California Secretary of State’s office. 21st Congressional District

Challenger David Valadao is in the lead against incumbent TJ Cox. Valadao has 53.1 percent of the votes, while Cox has 36.1 percent of the votes.

23rd Congressional District

Incumbent Kevin McCarthy is taking the lead with 69.6 percent of the votes, while challenger Kim Mangone has 30.4 percent of the votes.

Assembly 32nd District

Incumbent Rudy Salas is taking the lead with 54.6 percent of the votes, while challenger Todd Cotta is taking 45.4 percent of the votes.

Assembly 34th District

Incumbent Vince Fong is taking the lead with 75 percent of the votes, while challenger Julie Solis has 25 percent of the votes.

Kern County Supervisor District 1

Phillip Peters is taking the lead with 52.6 percent of the votes. David Fluhart has 24.78 percent of the votes, while Daures Stephens has 22.62 percent of votes. Incumbent Supervisor Mick Gleason did not run for re-election.

Kern County Supervisor District 4

Incumbent David Couch is taking the lead with 56.91 percent of the votes. Challenger Emilio Huerta has 43.09 percent of the votes.

Kern County Supervisor District 5

Incumbent Leticia Perez is taking the lead with 57.07 of the votes, while challenger David Abbasi has 13.19 percent of the votes, Ricardo Herrera has 12.12 percent of the votes, Ronnie Cruz has 9.2 percent of the votes, and Ben Valdez Jr. has 8.42 percent.

City of Bakersfield Mayor

Incumbent Karen Goh took 83.6 percent of the votes, while challengers Gregory Tatum took 10.47 percent of the votes, and Joseph Caporali took 5.93 percent of the votes.
