Health officials confirm 174 COVID-19 cases

The Kern County Public Health Department confirmed Tuesday 174 new cases of COVID-19 in Kern, bringing the total to 5,553 cases.

Health officials also confirmed two more COVID-19 related deaths. There are now total of 84 COVID-19 related deaths in Kern.

Of the total cases, there are 1,683 active cases, while 3,777 people have recovered.

As of Tuesday, there were 125 people isolating in the hospital.
