Virtual Rural Pride Summit to focus on the Central Valley

August 28, 2020 /

The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) are hosting a weeklong virtual Rural Pride Summit based out of the Central Valley.

The event, which runs from Sept. 21-27, will feature panel discussions and workshops that cover topics like a gender-affirming medical care, safe space for youth, a workshop with California legislators, community-led panels, and more.

“This Rural Pride Summit is a chance for those living in rural California or who care about issues facing LGBTQ people in rural California to gather, build connections, and share information and resources,” NCLR says on its website.
