Health officials announce 63 new COVID-19 cases in Kern

The Kern County Public Health Department announced Monday 63 new COVID-19 cases in Kern County, bringing the total to 31,572.

Health officials said there are no new COVID-19 related deaths, which leaves the total at 354 deaths in Kern County.

As of Sunday, there were 133 people isolating in Kern County hospitals, according to local health officials. As of Saturday, there were 21 people in the Intensive Care Unit, leaving 69 ICU beds available in Kern, according to the California Department of Public Health.
