BC to waive all parking fees for students during spring semester

December 14, 2021 /

On December 14, Bakersfield College announced that it will be waiving all parking fees for students, but parking permits will still be required. Now, BC is offering free student parking permits to enrolled students for the Spring 2022 semester as a temporary COVID-19 relief measure.

Students can visit the Bakersfield College website in order to obtain a parking permit. In order to obtain the parking permit, students must have already completed an Update Form.

Valid student parking permits are required to park in any student lot on any Bakersfield College campus. On the main Panorama campus, these include P3, P6, P7, and P8 and designated parking at the downtown Weill Institute, Delano campus, and BC Southwest.

Spring 2022 enrollment for Bakersfield College is now open for both in-person and online courses.

“Bakersfield College is offering courses leading to over 100 degrees and certificates in flexible methods of instruction this upcoming semester. Students can choose to register for face-to-face, hybrid, or online sections of courses. Courses for the spring session begin January 17, 2022. BC’s Student Information Desk is fully staffed and also available to assist new or returning students with any questions.”
