On May 24th at 4:00 p.m., Community Action Partnership Kern (CAPK) will hold a book giveaway and a resource fair for the community.

In a press release, CAPK stated that Molina Foundation donated 28,000 books for the giveaway and they are aiming to encourage a love of reading for both children and adults.

Along with free books for the community, there will be booths with information about CAPK programs, educational opportunities, and other resources.

The giveaway will be in the parking lot of 5005 Business Park North, Bakersfield CA.
