Kern County hosts informational meeting for Borel Fire victims

Kern County is organizing an informational meeting on September 19 at 2:00 p.m. to address Phase 2 of the Consolidated Debris Removal Program for victims of the Borel Fire. Attendees will also receive guidance on completing right-of-entry paperwork and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Borel Fire victims are invited to join the meeting in person at Lake Isabella Senior Center, 6401 Lake Isabella Blvd. in Lake Isabella, CA. If you are unable to join in person, see below virtual options:

Representatives from several agencies, including Kern County Public Health, Public Works, Planning and Natural Resources, California Office of Emergency Services, United States Forest Service, Kern County Office of Emergency Services, and the National Weather Service, will explain the program and provide essential information.
