Supervisor Leticia Perez leads Kimberly Salas by 4 votes

The District 5 race for the Kern County Board of Supervisors is extremely close. The leading candidate for the District 5 seat is Supervisor Letica Perez. As of the latest count, Perez has 12,937 votes (50.01%), next to her opponent Kimberly R. Salas who has 12,933 votes (49.99%).

Perez is leading by 4 votes.

There is still a total estimated number of 33,395 unprocessed ballots, according to Kern County Elections.
