Mark your calendars! Kern Family Health Care invites the community to a heartwarming holiday celebration at its annual “Winter Wellness Wonderland.” This free, family-friendly event will occur on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 2900 Buck Owens Blvd., Bakersfield, CA 93308.
The Winter Wellness Wonderland aims to spread holiday cheer while promoting community health and wellness. Emily Duran, CEO of Kern Family Health Care, emphasizes the importance of health during the festive season: “This event is our way of giving back to the community and encouraging families to prioritize their health care while enjoying an evening of fun and holiday spirit.”
The event will feature a wide array of activities and resources, including:
- Well-child visits and vaccinations (available while supplies last)
- A coat giveaway to keep families warm this winter
- Photos with Santa in a magical Christmas tree forest
- Local school talent performances and entertainment
- Train rides, bounce houses, hot cocoa, and cookies
- Health resources and a blood drive
This celebration is open to all Kern County residents, and you don’t need to be a Kern Family Health Care member to access health services.
