“For me, personally, I have asthma, so it affects me because my lungs don’t work really well, and that’s why I barely use the restroom at school there’s a lot of kids vaping in there. So it really affects me and probably others that have asthma as well or any health condition,” Eduardo Ramirez, a senior at South High.
“I think vaping in school is really stupid because if you get caught with it, you’re gonna get in trouble and possibly, like, suspended. It’s just a stupid choice because it affects your health. Personally, the most inconvenience vaping has done is in the school bathrooms because a lot of people decide to vape in the bathroom, and it affects me because it doesn’t allow me to access,” said Kevin Rodriguez, a senior at South High.
“I think that vaping is a very bad thing that is like very popular at a school. I think that it has impacted me in some way because it’s caused many shutdowns in the bathrooms, and sometimes it’s just packed, and it affects all of us, and we inhale all of this. So I think it has impacted everybody,” said Daniel Brito, a senior at South High.
“Personally, it hasn’t impacted me. I know many people who like to vape, and I feel like it is pretty negative. It does have a lot of side effects, but some people use it for their own reasons, and you just have to understand why they do it and not just judge people for it,” said Joslyn Torres, a senior at South High.
“I think it’s a big no-no. I believe, just because in the girls’ bathrooms, there’s not enough stalls for everybody, and the people that do vape are end up in the stalls, end up taking all the time. And since South High School has the 15, 15, we’re not able to go to the bathrooms, the 1st 15 minutes of class, and the last 15 minutes of class. So I think it just impacts the other people that really have to use the bathroom,” said Maribel Elias, a senior at South High.
“I think people shouldn’t be in schools, obviously. It’s bad for them, especially at like a young age. It affects me because most people do it in the bathrooms, and just walking in there is terrible,” said Axel a senior at South High.
