LAMONT– Last winter South Kern Sol staff interviewed adults, who as children came to Arvin during the Dustbowl. This was a collaboration with Cornerstone Theater during interview sessions for the play ‘Flor.’ ‘Flor’ will be shown this week from Aug. 2 -4 at 8:30pm at the Arvin High School Auditorium. Wayne, Don and Larry reflected on their arrival to Arvin, their families and the life of a farm working child. Interviews were done by GIBRAN MONCAYO and LUZ PEÑA/Video by JOSE ‘PABLO’ ANTONIO.
