The public is invited to attend the annual Bakersfield Nagar Kirtan Parade Sunday.

The annual event commemorates the creation of the Khalsa,  the Sikh community. The Sikh community will come together to celebrate and pray.

Community members will present floats, serve Punjabi treats and dishes, sing Sikh hymns and perform traditional Sikh martial arts.

Hosted by the local Gurdwaras, the event kicks off at 11 a.m. at the Gurdwara Guru Angad Darbar, 8100 Stine Road.
