KHS to host career event to provide community with opportunities

January 24, 2023 /

Today, Kern Health Systems (KHS) will be hosting a career event from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at 2900 Buck Owens Boulevard in Bakersfield.

“We want to get the word out to all communities about the great job opportunities at Kern Health Systems today and make connections because we have many more positions coming out later this year. It’s a great place to work!” stated Traco Matthews, the Chief Health Equity Officer at Kern Health Systems.

KHS will be offering health and wellness benefits, professional growth and career advancement, and a diverse and collaborative workplace. KHS prides itself on providing its employees with a supportive environment to pursue career opportunities.

“In an ever-changing healthcare environment, our employees feel valued and secure, resulting in the best outcomes for our members,” the KHS website states.

Those interested in attending the career event are encouraged to dress business casual and bring copies of their resume as hiring managers will be onsite.

“As the state works hard to achieve its health equity goals, it will be increasingly important for the healthcare workforce to reflect the beautiful diversity of our communities. My goal is to make sure that folks all over Kern County know about the opportunities we have at Kern Health Systems,” Matthews commented.
