The Kern County Public Health will launch their seven week Know Your Numbers program in Frazier Park on May 15. The program will offer two health screenings to inform the community about their body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels before and after five weeks of nutrition coaching and fitness classes.

“All fitness levels are welcome as our fitness instructor offers modifications for varied fitness levels and comfort,” officials said. “All sessions are available to the public, even if you didn’t attend the initial health screening.”

Initial health screenings will be held Wednesday, May 15 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and fitness and nutrition classes will be held on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. from May 22 through June 19. The final health screening will be held on June 26.

This program is free to the public and for more information about the Know Your Numbers program visit the Kern Public Health website.
