Salas lead over Perez still holds in latest update

The latest update for the District 5 race for the Kern County Board of Supervisors Kimberly R. Salas has the lead over Supervisor Leticia Perez by 19 votes.

According to the Kern County Elections, challenger Salas has 14,282 votes (50.03%) and incumbent Perez has 14,263 votes (49.97%). 

In Kern County, there is a total estimated number of 8,485 unprocessed ballots and a total number of 279,564 processed ballots as of November 19. 

The next Election Results will be released by Friday, November 22, and will appear on KernVote.com.
