Supervisor Perez has the lead in tight District 5 race

Update* As of November 26, Supervisor Leticia Perez has the lead for the District 5 race for the Kern County Board of Supervisors by 124 votes. 

According to the Kern County Elections, incumbent Perez has 14,741 votes (50.21%) and challenger Salas has 14,617 votes (49.79%). 

I’m Kern County, there is a total estimated number of 495 unprocessed ballots left to be processed. 

The next Election Results will be released by Tuesday, December 3, and will appear on KernVote.com.
