Know your rights: town halls start tonight in Kern County

Over the next few days, a collaborative group of legal counsel, attorneys, organizations, and community experts will host three different town hall presentations to help people learn about their constitutional rights in the United States.

All the meetings will start at 6 p.m. and be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, January 7 at the David Head Center
    • 10300 San Diego St, Lamont, CA, 93241
  • Wednesday, January 8, at the Friendship House Community Center
    • 2424 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Bakersfield, CA, 93307
  • Thursday, January 9, at Bakersfield College: Delano Campus
    • 1450 Timmons Ave, Delano, CA, 93215. Room DST 109

Refreshments will be provided along with local attorneys to talk to. These attorneys will include experts in immigration law and civil rights. For additional information or any questions, call 661-633-5495.
