On March 7, the United Farm Workers Foundation (UFW) will be hosting its free legal immigration, consultation, naturalization, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewal workshop. The workshop will be hosted at the Friendship House Community Center, located at 2424 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Bakersfield, CA., between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Organizers urge attendees to arrive with their required legal documents. For a legal consultation, attendees must bring any documents that they wish to share for their upcoming immigration appointment.
For DACA renewals, attendees must bring;
- Their Employment Authorization Document
- California Identification Card or Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
- Copy of last DACA application
- 2 passport photos
- Previous Approval Notice
For naturalization applicants, they must provide the following documents:
- Permanent Resident Card
- California Identification Card or Driver’s License
- Most recent federal taxes and W2
And to be eligible for a fee waiver, applicants must bring their passport and their most recent federal taxes and W2.
