Just weeks before election day, the District 4 Kern County Supervisor candidates will participate in a student centered debate next month that will give voters a better idea of what their vision is for Kern County.
The debate between incumbent David Couch and challengers Jose Gonzalez and Grace Vallejo will be moderated by David Schecter, Cal State Bakersfield’s Vice Provost and a political scientist.
The event begins at 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the Dezember Reading Room in the Walter W. Stiern Library at Cal State Bakersfield.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can park in Lots D, M, K1 and K2.
