The City of Bakersfield Recreation & Parks is holding a swimsuit drive for those in need.

The department is collecting new or gently used swimsuits on Friday, June 14. Those who donate can swim for free.

The department is holding a drive to help those in need of a bathing suit. Swimsuits are considered a safety requirement at all city pools.

All donated suits will be cleaned by Today Cleaners and distributed. Swimsuit donations will be accepted all summer.
