The Kern High School District is adjusting meal services times as temperatures warm up and is providing additional meals.
Beginning Monday, May 4, KHSD Nutrition Services is providing free grab-and-go meals to children and adolescents between the ages of 2 to 18 between 10-11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, according to a news release.
In addition to breakfast and lunch meals, KHSD Nutrition Services is also adding the Supper Program beginning May 11. Families can pick up breakfast, lunch and dinner between 10-11:30 a.m.
Meal distribution sites include:
- Arvin High
- Bakersfield High
- Frontier High
- Golden Valley High
- Independence High
- Kern Valley High
- Mira Monte High
- North High
- Nueva High
- Shafter High
- South High
- Stockdale High
- West High
Beginning May 11, school sites serving breakfast and lunch will provide students with four meals on Thursdays. School sites serving breakfast, lunch and dinner will provide students with five meals on Thursdays.
