The Kern County Public Health Department confirmed Wednesday morning three new COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 57. 

Health officials also confirmed 60 new COVID-19 cases.

Of the total 3,522 cases in Kern, 2,366 people have recovered, but there remains 1,089 active cases.

As of Wednesday, there were 75 people being hospitalized.
