Yesterday marked the beginning of the final week of the CSUB Mass Vaccination Hub at the Student Recreation Center.

The last doses will be administered on Friday, May 14.

“We encourage all in our community to take advantage of this safe, quick and easy opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19,” CSUB said in a newsletter. 

The hub is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. 

Those who are receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be directed to a Kaiser Permanente facility for your follow-up dose. No insurance is required. 

Walk up appointments are welcome, or you can make an appointment on www.MyTurn.ca.gov.

The health-care consortium administering the vaccine is prioritizing a new strategy, taking the vaccine to the places where community members live and work.
