The City of Arvin is holding community introductions for the top 5 candidates for the City Manager position.

The top candidates include: Peter Cosentini from Huntington Beach, Jeff Jones from Bakersfield, Ricardo Noguera from Cape Coral Florida, Noah Cloud from Seoul, Korea, and Donovan Olsen from Ames, Iowa.

The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Arvin Veteran’s Hall, 414 4th Street, Arvin, CA 93203.

In July 2021, the Arvin City Council requested the services of Phoenix-based
Municipal Solutions, LLC, a local government consulting and executive search firm, to assist in the recruitment of City Manager candidates. 35 professionals expressed interest in the position.

A national search was conducted, and the process produced 5 highly qualified finalists. Finalists have been invited to participate in a 2-day interview process involving a public social, three interviews, and time with employees and Senior Managers – in an effort to better inform the City Council prior to their selection of Arvin’s next City Manager.

It is expected that all Finalists will participate in the Final Interview process, though due to scheduling challenges one or two of the candidates may not be able to participate fully.
