There was much excitement two years ago when community members were asked if they had an interest in running for the California Jobs First Governance Council (“GC”), formerly known as CERF, to select projects for $9 million in CJF Catalyst funding.
On August 24, Kern County’s Community Economic Resilience Fund (CERF) Program leaders provided an update on their status with the Governance Council, what that means for the program, and how the public can be involved and have the opportunity to become part of the council.
Organizations in Kern County are in the process of applying for the Community Economic Resilience Fund (CERF).
