Kern County Public Health announced 1,911 new cases of COVID-19 in Kern over the last four days, bringing the total number of cases to 128,770.
A group of community leaders filed a petition Tuesday morning at the Kern County Clerk’s Office calling to enact term limits on members of the Kern County Board of Supervisors.
There are 609 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kern County, bringing the total to 126,859.
Health officials also confirmed that there has been 4 new deaths, bringing the total of number of Kern County deaths to 1,482.
The Kern County Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for their Rent and Utility Assistance Program, a program that provides short-term assistance for rent and/or utility costs.
Since Kern County is undergoing the process of redistricting this year in accordance with the 2020 U.S.
After being virtual for almost a year and a half, Delano schools opened their schools back up on August 10; within the first week, students were already being tested to see if they were positive for COVID-19.
The Kern County Public Health Department confirmed Tuesday more than 500 new cases of COVID-19 in Kern, bringing the total to 124,943 cases.
