Pfizer recently asked the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to authorize their newly updated COVID-19 booster shots for people aged 12 and older.
These six families are farm workers who lost all their belongings due to the fire. The six families consisted of 11 children (one toddler) and 15 adults (one special needs).
Both Pfizer and Moderna bivalent boosters are expected to be distributed in September.
This bivalent booster consists of the old vaccine formula with a new one that fights against omicron variants including BA.4 and BA.5.
